The Summer Reading Challenge is an immensely popular and successful reading initiative. It is created and run by the Reading Agency, an independent charity working to inspire more people to read, and to read more, and is supported by children's publishers. The Summer Reading Challenge is simple. Children are encouraged to read six books or more of their choice during the holidays with collectable incentives and rewards, plus a certificate for every child who completes the Challenge. 0 - 3 year olds can also take part in a mini-Summer Reading Challenge.
